Glorious sunshine brought buyers out of the woodwork over the first Spring weekend with great results for Realmark properties that went to auction.

It was an exciting auction for a striking modern residence at 30 Queenscliffe Road, Doubleview which attracted a large number of bids before finally selling under the hammer for $1.926 million.

Bidding opened at $1.65 million and it took 28 bids over 20 minutes to take it up to the final selling price.

Agent Corey Adamson from Realmark Urban said there were three bidders and it turned into a great atmosphere with two of the bidders battling it out and running up the result by $1000 bids towards the end.

This ultra stylish three-bedroom, three-bathroom home boasts a spacious master suite, theatre room, gourmet kitchen, designer alfresco area and pool.

The home’s clean and contemporary lines with seamless integration between indoor and outdoor living appealed to upmarket buyers.

In Joondanna, a modernised character home on a huge 791sqm block sold under the hammer for $900,000.

It took eight bids in only 10 minutes to secure the winning result.

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom home enjoys a leafy street frontage, a bus stop right out the front for convenience and is within the catchment zones for Churchlands Senior High School, Dianella Secondary College and St Denis Catholic Primary School.

A property at 1 Shakespeare, Leederville was due to go to auction on the weekend but sold prior for $950,000.

Agent Paul Di Lanzo said he wrote up seven offers for the property and the result was “a cracking price for the area”.

“This was a great a character home on a corner block so it attracted a lot of attention but ultimately the neighbour secured the property as they were willing to pay a bit of a higher price as they had a vested interest,” he said.

A beautifully renovated four-bedroom, two-bathroom character home in Auborough Street, Doubleview was passed in at $1,310,000.

Agent Paul Di Lanzo said he was still in negotiations with the highest bidder but, if it didn’t sell, the property would go to market at offers from $1,395,000.

There was a large crowd of 70 people who turned up for the auction as this home’s incredible renovation is worthy of attention.

Built in 1996 the home was expertly restored by the Vintage Building Company and now features Jarrah floors throughout, a double undercover carport, lavish marble kitchen, master suite with extensive built-in robes and an alfresco area that opens via bi-fold doors.

The 645sqm block also features a fantastic grassy backyard for kids to play and rear laneway access.
